Answer No 1 : Domed Cup Nut
DOMED CUP NUT
About Domed Cup Nut :
Hexagon nut with a hemispherical top. Its function is similar to cap nut. It is available in 11 sizes from M6 to M24 diameter bolts/screw. They are made of steel, brass or aluminium alloy. It prevents corrosion and leakage of fluids from the threads.
Answer No 2 : SNAP HEAD RIVET
d = 20 mm
1.6d = 32 mm
0.125d = 2.5 mm
0.7d = 14 mm
SNAP HEAD RIVET
Answer No 3 : Parabola Directrix Ordinate Method
Parabola Directrix Ordinate Method of Focus is at 50 mm
Parabola Drawing Steps by Directrix Method of Focus is at 50 mm-
Draw a vertical line D-D1 the directrix.
Draw horizontal line XX1, the axis through any point X on the directrix.
Mark the focus ‘F’ on XX1 = 50 mm from X (on the directrix).
Mark the mid point of XF, as V.
Mark a number of points from V towards right side on the axis as 1,2,3,4…..
Draw vertical lines through these points as shown, forming double ordinates.
Point ‘F’ as centre, X-1 as radius, draw arcs on the co-ordinates (vertical lines) passing through 1, mark points P1 & P1′.
X-2 as radius, F as centre, draw arcs on the 2nd ordinate, mark P2 & P2′.
Similarly get point P3, P4…. P3′, P4′ etc. on the axis as above.
Join all the points with a smooth curve, by free hand and form the parabola curve.
Answer No 4 : Projection View of Bushed Journal Bearing Assembly
Projection View of Bushed Journal Bearing Assembly the Diameter of Shaft is 50 mm
More Details :
